The US Fish and
Wildlife Service Caught the first ruffe from Lake Michigan in the Fall of
2002.After the first and only ruffe
was collected from Escanaba Harbor. A survey a few weeks later caught 2 more
ruffe from the same area.Just three
fish were collected, 146, 151, and 83 mm.
