Impact DescriptionGizzard shad catch per unit effort (CPUE) declined in the Wabash River were correlated with increases in the CPUE of silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix). There were no other significant patterns with fish populations in the Wabash River after silver carp introductions.
