Comments(In literature as Glyptemys muhlenbergii). Former resident of Zoo Atlanta (GA), stolen in 1995 along with 3 other G. Muhlenbergii and 2 Clemmys guttata. Died shortly after capture from fungal infection. Age estimated at 47 years. Collected during an extensive survey of native Western pond turtles, Emys marmorata on the UC Davis campus, from 1994-2001.
