This alert is sent when a selected species expands its range into a new state, a new drainage (HUC-8), or new county within a state.

Example of alerts you WILL get:
*A selected species is found in a state where it has never been recorded before.
*A selected species is found in a county where it has never been recorded before.
*A selected species is found in a drainage where it has never been recorded before.

Examples of alerts you will NOT get:
*A selected species is found in an area that has had previous records, such as a state with old records.
*A selected species is found in a new location that is within the same drainage (HUC-8).
