| Impact Description | Heterosporis sutherlandae has been isolated from several native Great Lakes species including walleye (Sander vitreus), northern pike (Esox lucius), burbot (Lota lota), mottled sculpin (Cottus bairdi), slimy sculpin (C. cognatus), pumpkinseed (Lepomis gibbosus), and yellow perch (Perca flavensis). Yellow perch is the only species in which impacts have been realized. |
