Comments"A group of us were walking to a vegetation monitoring station when we saw the carcass of this fish floating in a wet prairie within the County's Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area. It looked like the head had been eaten off, possibly by a bird. One of the guys that was with us previously worked for the South Florida Water Mgt. District on the Kissimmee River. He was familiar with this species and recognized it immediately."
