Impact Description | Eels with Anguillicola crassus have damage to swim bladder walls, including dilation and congestion of blood vessels, inflammation, hemorrhaging, and fibrosis. Damage to the swim bladder increased with the number of nematodes in swim bladder wall, and larger eels had higher levels of nematodes. |
