| Impact Description | A study of zander (Sander lucioperca) diet in French reservoirs found that zander in the smallest size group (< 250 mm length) preyed preferentially on insects and crustaceans. The largest size group (> 330 mm length) fed only on fish and roach (Rutilus rutilus), bream (Abramis brama), and brown trout (Salmo trutta) were observed in their stomach contents. |
