Impact Description | Cyclops spp. is also an intermediate host for the tapeworm Diphyllobothrium, which infects fish such as salmon and can be passed to humans through ingestion of undercooked fish. The resulting diphyllobothriasis can include diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, weight loss, fatigue, constipation, and discomfort. |
