(2005) showed the effect of Stratiotes aloides on several phytoplankton species: two cyanobacterial strains (toxic and non-toxic Microcystis aeruginosa), one green alga (Scenedesmus obliquus) and one eustigmatophyte (Nannochloropsis limnetica). The overall effect (8-51%) was measured by the extension in doubling time of initial biovolume. |
