| Impact Description | Sphacelaria lacustris was originally reported in Lake Michigan at depths ranging from 5-15 m . It might compete with other species, but at the time of that study it was not interfering with the growth of the native Cladophora glomerata, which created a dense cover on rocks at depths of 1-5 m. |
