Impact Description | Experimental introduction of zander (Sander lucioperca) in a Norwegian lake reduced the pelagic refuge available for juvenile roach (Rutilus rutilus) and increased their availability to littoral predators. The effect is an alteration of the fish community towards dominance by littoral predators, perch (Perca fluviatilis) in this study. |
