Impact Description | The presence of Dreissena polymorpha in Lake Texoma caused the suspension of the water pump station that provided drinking water to northern Texas. In 2024, the Red River Boundary Commission amended the Texas and Oklahoma state borders to include the water pump station wholly within the Texas border. This was to avoid the federal prohibition on transportation of zebra mussels across state borders. |
