Faxonius limosus successfully repelled young of the year (YOY) burbot (Lota lota) from their preferred daytime shelters into alternative, previously unselected shelters. Crayfish also affected the nocturnal behavior of YOY burbot by eliciting avoidance behavior and caused an increase in the plasma cortisol levels.
