Introduction of zander (Sander lucioperca) into Lake Ymsen, Sweden in 1911 led to reduced annual catch numbers of established species. Catch of perch (Perca fluviatilis) declined from 1175 to 87 kg, bream (Abramis brama) from 2435 to 69 kg, and roach (Rutilus rutilus) from 285 to 5 kg during the time period 1918-1927.
