Impact DescriptionAxolotl diets in Mexico were more diverse, and Axolotl occupied higher trophic positions than Common Carp or Nile Tilapia. However, there was high trophic niche overlap among the species, with the invasives occupying larger niche area than the Axolotl, indicating more omnivory and dietary specialization.
