Impact DescriptionMacroinvertebrate species richness, including gastropod species richness, was lower in pools that had been invaded by Cherax quadricarinatus in northwestern Australia (where C. quadricarinatus is a native transplant).Invertebrate composition was also significantly different between the invaded and non-invaded pools.
