Impact DescriptionAnalysis of silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) gut contents in Qiandao Lake using microscopic examination, chlorophyll fluorescence, high-throughput DNA sequencing and pigment ratios indicated that silver carp could remove cyanobacteria and reduce Microcystis plankton in the summer. Silver carp might be more effective at managing cyanobacteria blooms.
