| Comments | MN DNR invasive species program staff received a report on October 11, 2016 that Waterville Fish Hatchery found suspected Eurasian watermilfoil. On October 12, 2016, a short search by DNR Fisheries staff indicated that rooted Eurasian watermilfoil was found growing near the public boat landing on Lake Tetonka, near the Fish Hatchery. MN DNR invasive species program staff searched the area around the boat landing and confirmed the presence of rooted and floating Eurasian watermilfoil in Lake Tetonka on October 14, 2016.A floating piece of Eurasian watermilfoil was found at the public boat landing on Lake Tetonka in July 2015, but subsequent searches by DNR invasive species program staff and by the lake association did not find any rooted plants, or any other fragments at that time. All visible clumps of Eurasian watermilfoil were hand-pulled by a private dive company on November 1, 2016.; EDDMapS report |
