CommentsThe first Esox masquinongy was detected 9/1/18, and the last one collected on Oct. 12, 2018 perished as a result of a rotenone treatment of the lake to eradicate northern pike. They are now eradicated. Due to the age range in the animals found, the population was thought to be reproducing and established before eradication.
