| Comments | Offshore limit, this locality is the southerly of the two major shipping canals entering the Chesapeake Bay. From publication: The range occupied varies in depth from 5 to 20 m at salinities of 18-28 ppt. Majority of the individuals collected were in the size range 120 to 165 mm SL (Shell Length), with a limited number extending as small as 68 mm SL. Determination of age was not possible. |
