Impact DescriptionIn the Mediterranean Sea along the coast of Cypress, percent cover of invasive Halophila stipulacea has doubled over the course of six years. Two native species of seagrass, Cymodocea nodosa and Posidonia oceanica that were present in the beginning of the study in 2017 are no longer present as of 2023.
