| Impact Description | Introduction of Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) led to the elimination of submersed macrophytes in the 8000-ha impoundment. The results of this study found increased nutrient concentrations and abundances of all phytoplankton species. It also resulted in a decline in water clarity and increase in blue-green algae. |
