Impact DescriptionThe favorite foods of walking catfish are those that are easily obtained: attached periphyton for the young, insect larvae, larval fishes and attached fish eggs for the juveniles and adults. The eggs of native catfishes and centrarchids are attached eggs and, therefore provide a ready source of food.
