Impact DescriptionIn Chicago Area Waterways Misgurnus anguillicaudatus diet consisted primarily of benthic macroinvertebrates such as Sphaeriidae (Fingernail Clams), Chironomidae (non-biting midge larvae), and Odonata (Dragonfly and Damselfly larvae). Misgurnus anguillicaudatus also ate a tadpole and a fish egg.
