Impact DescriptionBighead and Silver carp were effective in controlling the nuisance green alga Rhizoclonium spp. in a small pond. However, the removal of Rhizoclonium was accompanied by decreases in water clarity and zoolplankton, and increases in nanoplankton concentration.
