Impact DescriptionGrowth and survival of Bluegill was enhanced in the presence of Bighead Carp in pond experiments. Avoidance of Bighead Carp increased encounter frequency with Bluegill and predatory macroinvertebrates, with increased consumption of both cladocerans and macroinvertebrates by Bluegill.
