Impact DescriptionIn Laguna de Bay, Philippines, small Clown Knifefish consumed mostly freshwater prawns (Caridina sp.), with snails and fishes also eaten. Larger size classes ate proportionately more fishes (especially the endemic fish Terapontidae: Leiopotherapon plumbeus), with prawns becoming a secondary dietary item.
