Impact DescriptionBecause if its reputation as a voracious molluscivore in its introduced ranges, it is thought that Rapana venosa may feed heavily upon the important fishery species Mytilus edulis, Pacific oysters (Crassostrea gigas) and cockles (Cerastoderma edule)in the North Sea.
