Impact DescriptionAfter two growing seasons, Bluegill Lepomis macrochirus standing crop was significantly lower (P < 0.1) in both the Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) and Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio ponds. Bluegill crop was reduced by 52% when grown in combination with Ctenopharyngodon idella and 67% when grown in combination with common carp. There were no significant differences in the standing crop of largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides ).
