Impact DescriptionWhen stocked alone at rates of 40 (or more) per acre, Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) effectively eliminated Chara spp., Potamogeton diversifolius, and Eurasian milloil Myriophyllum spicatum) in less than 99 days, and caused a decrease in the amount of waterhyacinths in 0.1-acre earthen ponds.
