Impact DescriptionWithout protection from herbivores, transplant mortality of Panicum hemitomon totaled 90-100% within 6 months planting. Lower transplant moralities, and higher below ground biomass, root mat thickness, and soil strength were found in treatments where Nutria (Myocastor coypus) were excluded.
