Impact DescriptionIn its introduced range, starry stonewort (Nitellopsis obtusa) peaks in biomass in late fall/early winter after much of the other local vegetation has subsided. Thus, starry stonewort (Nitellopsis obtusa) could provide an important source of food and habitat for overwintering species.
