Impact DescriptionStudy results may suggest that silver carps (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) are influencing native planktivore body condition. Gizzard Shad and Bigmouth Buffalo body condition declined significantly with increases in commercial harvest of silver and Asian carps (linked to density and biomass).
