Impact DescriptionAfter the establishment of Bythotrephes longimanus in Lake Michigan, populations of Daphnia pulicaria, Daphnia galeata mendotae, and Daphnia retrocurva collapsed. However, it is unlikely that the collapse of the aforementioned Daphnids can be solely attributed to Bythotrephes introduction.
