Impact DescriptionIn a three year field study in Lake George, banded mysterysnail dominated the 7 species snail community making up an average of 77% per sample. In a laboratory study, the presence of banded mystery snails reduced the biomass of native snail competitors 14–27% under low- and high-nutrient concentrations, respectively.
