Impact DescriptionThe disappearance of a native endemic copepod (Mastigodiaptomus sp.) in El Junco Lake, Galápagos coincided with the introduction and eradication of Oreochromis niloticus (Nile Tilapia). It is thought that cause is predation and/or competition brought on by the Tilapia.
