The following six species of freshwater sponge were observed overgrowing or surrounding L. fortunei: Corvospongilla seckti, Drulia cf. brownii, Oncosclera navicella, Sterrastrolepis brasiliensis, Tubella repens, and Uruguaya corallioides. |
