Impact DescriptionPomacea canaliculata substantially fed on Amaranthus gangeticus, Commelina diffusa, Nasturtium officinale, Ipomoea aquatica, and Eichhornia crassipes in this laboratory study. However Myriophyllum aquaticum and Alternanthera philoxeroides were unpalatable to Pomacea canaliculata potentially due to chemical defense and reduced snail growth.
