Impact DescriptionPomacea maculata herbivory completely removed submerged aquatic vegetation in cell 4S in a South Florida stormwater treatment area. This removal of submerged aquatic vegetation increased phosphorus outflow and caused a shut down of the stormwater treatment area until Pomacea maculata were removed.
