Commentsdug up small clumps near boat launch, marked others with GPS; Weather partly cloudy, calm. Secchi depth greater than 5 m (to bottom where we tested), surface water temp 23 C. Resurveyed downstream of Cussick, the same areas surveyed in 2013. There was less flowering rush on the west side seen (but other submersed plant growth was very dense, and the water level low). Saw similar growth to 2013 on the east side. Very dense water stargrass and other submersed plants, including milfoil. Saw lots of geese and other waterfowl.
