Commentsupper end; Weather sunny, light breeze. Secchi depth > 2 m, to bottom. Surface water 10 C at inflow, 13 C by bridge. Many ducks and 1 goose observed at upper end, rough skin newts, a few large fish. Did plant mapping & frequency data collection at upper end - pre-treatment survey, drip herbicide treatmnet scheduled for early May. Variable leaf milfoil very large, bright green tips, may have overwintered. Other plant species still low in water column, just starting spring growth in shallow water.
