| Comments | flowering in shallows, dense at west end; sunny, light breeze. Revisit to map plant population. E. densa not growing much yet. In area where it is normally a topped out mat it is still mostly a couple feet below surface. Surfacing and blooming in shallows, did not see as much in the main lake body as last year. Swarms of rough-skinned newts. |
