CommentsWe have found giant salvinia scattered across 3,950 acres, most of which has been small patches (1-100) plants hitchhiking with water hyacinth and dispersed with duck weed and crested floating heart. We have located 5 areas that have dense growth of mature colonized giant salvinia in back water areas totaling approximately 5 acres.
