CommentsDiscovery 2010: DNA analysis in 2010 confirmed VLM. Plant is found in patches from the Route 225 bridge down to Great Pond. 2010-2011: Removal by hand and benthic barrier. 2012-2016: Removal by contracted Diver Assisted Suction Harvester. Survey work in Great Pond to see if variable milfoil has established.
