| Comments | Two colonies observed. One small and one very large (see photographs). Large colony was nearly 1 foot in diameter and possibly up to 4 feet long (deep). Third photo is a general habitat photo facing south from the boardwalk. Colonies were on the north side of the boardwalk. |
