CommentsIndividual was adhered to submerged rock that is part of rock arch ramp installed for fish passage at Lock and Dam 1 on the Cape Fear River. Animal was observed during other work being conducted by NC Wildlife Resources Commission district sportfish biologists. Large (approx. 50 mm) individual was vouchered and sent to Brena Jones, aquatic wildlife diversity research coordinator, for ID verification. Specimen will be permanently deposited at NC Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, NC.
