CommentsDiscovered after construction of SE cloverleaf of I94 and Ryan Rd. Discovered by Kristina Betzold (DNR). Seed heads were cut on 01/08/2018 to reduce spread. Samples were submitted for DNA testing and seeds were grown for DNA testing. DNA testing was confirmed September 2018 by Pamela Geddes (Professor at Northeastern Illinois University). Kristina communicated discovery to Amy Kretlow (DNR). Amy is working with the landowner and local stakeholders on control.
