CommentsDiscovery 2009. Discovered by Invasive Plant Patroller confirmed by VLMP and DEP. 2011-2016: Maine DEP Midcoast Conservancy Survey Damariscotta lake and lagoon for hydrilla. Scattered plant is removed around the barriers in the lagoon. No plant found outside of lagoon. 2010: Damariscotta Lake Watershed Association mobilized volunteers.
