CommentsI also contacted the people over at wildlife.ca.gov, who suggested I add the sighting here as well. A pond outside the Irvine apartments. Last year I saw frogs along the shore around June/July, though didn't see any when I went yesterday. There are also Xenopus tadpoles all along the river bed of the San Diego Creek, mostly in drying out ponds. There is a bridge underneath the 405 that is by the coordinates listed, and there are some Xenopus tadpoles in some of the water areas down there.
